Beautiful Golebys Cottage has stood, tucked away on a quiet lane in the rural Norfolk village of Hickling, for 250 years. The cottage, which sleeps four, has been described by our guests as a real home from home, and is equipped with everything you could possibly need to make a stay as comfortable as possible. Golebys Cottage combines old charm with modern comfort and is perfect for couples, families, or those wishing to bring pets.
Summer and spring guests can enjoy the secluded, fully enclosed garden, with patio table, chairs and barbecue, while Autumn and Winter visitors can snuggle up to a multi-fuel stove and the wonderfully comfortable underfloor heating.
The cottage is situated just behind the villlage high street and within two minutes walk of The Greyhound, a popular local pub at the heart of the community and a perfect place for a drink or relaxing meal. The pub is dog friendly, as is Golebys Cottage.
Golebys Cottage is situated on the edge of the Norfolk Broads National Park. Hickling Broad is Norfolk's largest and is a 15 minute walk from the cottage, as is Hickling Nature Reserve with it's abundance of bird and wildlife. Golebys Cottage location, between the Norfolk Broads and the soft golden sands of the often deserted beaches just 3 miles away, means you are never far from where you want to be.
